Dr. Bash is a board certified plastic surgeon who has been in practice since 1992. She moved to Arizona in 2000 when she was recruited to join the faculty of Mayo Clinic. Dr. Bash worked at Mayo Clinic from 2000-2013 as an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery, and was the head of the cosmetic surgery from 2000-2008. While at Mayo Clinic Dr. Bash was involved in continuous resident training and education, and focused her surgical practice on cosmetic surgery, surgery after massive weight loss, and implant based breast reconstruction. Dr. Bash has been a speaker both nationally and locally on many cosmetic surgery topics, and has appeared on several local news stations with updates on the latest trends in plastic surgery. She was listed at TOP DOC in Phoenix Magazine from 2008-2012. For 12 years she served at the Associate Medical Director of Mayo’s health insurance plan (MMSI) in addition to her full time clinical practice.

After completing her medical degree at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 1986, Dr. Bash completed general surgery residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and plastic surgery residency with a 12 month burn fellowship at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 1992.
For most of her career Dr. Bash has been very active in her national plastic surgery society (The American Society of Plastic Surgery) serving on the Health and Payment Policy Committee and is considered an expert in insurance coding and education.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Bash gives back her time to those in need. She has worked with Operation Smile, and international charity organization that assists underprivileged children with cleft lips, cleft palates and burns. Dr. Bash has travelled to Viet Nam on 3 separate occasions with a medical mission team to repair cleft lips and palates, and perform burn reconstruction on severely burned children.
After leaving Mayo Clinic in 2013, Dr. Bash opened her private practice in the beautiful Kierland Corporate Center in North Scottsdale. She focuses her practice on cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body, including surgery after weight loss. Her emphasis is patient safety and delivering realistic results, for both men and women.
